AirAsia X orders 55 Airbus A330neos

AirAsia X is the Malay equivalent to India's failed Kingfisher Air. Lots of flights, packed planes, low ticket prices, and loads of attractive workers being paid very little. Most of the workers are so happy to be there because it gives them a chance to escape the living conditions at least for a little while.

I enjoy fling with them for short trips, but their baggage limit of 36 Kg (even if you want to pay for more) will kill the long haul market. Perhaps now that oil prices have halved Tony might bump the limit to 50 Kg and attract a few more long distance punters.
