Plane lands in Milwaukee with missing engine cover
A United Express jet made an emergency landing in Milwaukee Tuesday.Video from NewsChopper 12 shows that one of the engines is missing part of the outer cowling.Pilots called for emergency crews about 17 miles before landing back at Mitchell International Airport.Pat Rowe, spokesperson for the airport, said the United Express flight, operated by SkyWest, took off from Mitchell and was headed to Chicago before experiencing an issue.  The pilot then requested a return to the airport with emergency vehicles at the ready.The plane landed successfully and made its way to a terminal gate to allow passengers to deplane.41 people were on board the plane. No injuries were reported.
