KLM to Launch New Amsterdam-Bogotá-Cali Service

KLM announced it will begin new service between the Netherlands and Colombia on March 31, 2015.  The airline will offer three weekly flights between the two countries, which will originate in Amsterdam and arrive in Bogotá, and then continue on to Cali, the third largest city in Colombia, before returning to Amsterdam.

Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, departing Amsterdam at 12:30 p.m. and arriving in Bogotá at 4:25 p.m.  From Bogotá, flights will depart at 5:55 p.m. and arrive in Cali at 6:55 p.m.  Flights will then depart at 8:35 p.m., and arrive in Amsterdam at 2:15 p.m. the next day.

The service will operate using Boeing 777-200 aircraft configured with 318 seats, with 35 in World Business Class, 35 in Economy Comfort (the airline’s Premium Economy section), and 249 in economy.  Seats in World Business Class are 20” wide, and have a pitch of 60”.

KLM and partner carrier Air France currently serve 15 destinations throughout Central and South America.
