Seen 4/4/16 near Eli NV. Ampib in Eastern NV, looks kind of out of its element there.
Great pic indeed, and what a clean paint job. According to The Grumman Albatross web site that aircraft was based in Driggs, ID in 2009.
Great shot! I just read that an American company is going to invest approx. One hundred million dollars to setup remanufacturing and new production Albatross amphibians in the Central Coast area of Australia(which is about 40 nm north of SYD Sydney NSW). Plenty of seaplane friendly lakes in that area, in addition to actual Sydney Harbour.
