Stearmans made great crop dusters back in the 50-60's. Going to college at U of Idaho in 62-64,a dirt strip at the end of our trailer park housed a couple. In the spring, got early wake-up calls as they took off at dawn to begin their work. What a roar when taking off. I really didn't mind.
