Wow! I really like this shot. There are so many great elements-people with cameras, sand being kicked up, the shadow on people, everybody focused on the plane, and of course, the plane.

What a shot!...good 'human interest' with a beautiful A/C...imagine flying that off the Hornet...on a 1 way trip to Tokyo...

A little different than the jumbos that almost scrape the beach (and the beach goers!) at St. Maartens. Great shot. Old warbirds are the coolest!

No matter how many times I see photos of airplanes over this beach at St. Maarten - they are always amazing, and this one is truly awesome of 'Betty's Dream'.

That dude in the foreground is blistered! GR8 aircraft! Did a lot for the moral of the American people after Doolittle's raid on Japan.
Nate Rasband
Thats rare fort that plane all the way down there.

That dude on the bottom right has a really bad sunburn....

Her registration was changed to the current N5672V in September of 1994. From 1994 to 1999, she underwent restoration work. Her first flight after restoration was in March of 1999. Since restoration, she has flown as "Betty's Dream". She is now owned by the Texas Flying Legends Museum.

SUPER THANK YOU! to everyone who help keep these Ol birds flying.

St marteen ,the best place you can know when watching a plane landing

Given the location of where this photo was taken, I didn't think the B-25 had the fuel range to be able to be ferried down to St. Maarten. Extra fuel on board? What am I missing?

Awesome catch of this WWII Warbird

Apr 5, 2011 — Range 1,275 miles with 3,200 pounds of bombs. Ferry range 2,700 miles. Dimensions: Wingspan 67 feet 6.7 inches, length 53 feet 5.75 inches

It is only 762 miles from Freeport Bahamas to Dominican Republic, DR to PR 236 miles
and then St Maarten 233 miles, it could almost make it with a load in one shot.
