"AF Ser. No. 53-0552 – on display at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma."
I've seen this one at previous air shows but never photographed it so I decided to get a capture of it this time. (But I wish it had been airborne.)

Excellent shot! Imagine for a moment if everyone would play a small part in helping others. What a wonderful world this would be. God, in Jesus’ name, continue blessing our Nation (USA)

My favorite pic of the week.
Love the paint job around the cockpit windows, it gives the squinty eyes look to the airplane.

That must be an Airbus H125 - it's painted on the tail. The ICAO code is AS35, same as its predecessor, Eurocopter AS350.

I can't see any sky, it's landscape all over.

The fastest civil jet available but with a very questionable paint job.
Sehr geil, mein lieber!!!

On display at the Flyvergrillen (55.61359787N 12.63002014E) since 01 June 2023. Built in 1977 by PZL Mielec, ex Aeroflot CCCP-40790, Lithuania Air Force 14, unknown operator LY-ACS. Sold to Denmark in 2006
This is one of two EC-121 aircraft painted as USAF 53-0552. This one is here at the Aerospace Museum of California (KMCC). I can't remember where the other one is located.

Great Pic. Beautiful aircraft. Great People doing great things in the service of others ir-regardless to race/nationality/religion. A truly worthy organization to support.

Great background info Gary! We have never had a 106 down here in Australia, tho' I think it was seriously considered back in the 1960's up against the Dassault Mirage, but the government at that time went for the French option.

They're going to soon need bug repellant down under if they keep cranking out these mosquitos!
Written on 21/03/2024 by Tom Glass
Wow. Chris, my friend, YOU have a fantastic eye for certain ... because that is INDEED an F-106. Spotting it despite having that 727 wing in the way is very impressive, so CONGRATS. An interesting bit of info about that particular F-106 is that -- (according to the placard on a post near it) -- it was once involved in a midair collision and had about 14 feet of its nose ripped off. But here it is on display at the museum so obviously it survived the loss of its nose (grin).

I think .. (I'm not 100% certain, but I think) .. we were told there are now five WC-135s in the Constant Phoenix program.
That is a beautiful body, the plane and other things!

Hi Gary! That looks like an F106 sandwiched between N466FE and the Warning Star.

1964 model, narrow chord tail with M. Smith tail cuff mod., D'Shannon windshield and probably a 520 0r 550 under the hood. This bird cruises in the yellow arc in the lower teens'.

Great photo and THX.
Chris - Love your work. I've enjoyed your many many posts. A bit confused on the description. Think we have a mismatch. I really wish Boeing had not discontinued the 757. Airbus wouldn't be eating so much of Boeing's lunch with their A321LR if Boeing had a next generation 757. I still think they should pull the 757 plans out and do new wings and engines. The NMA project is toast given the hole they are in now. Not the perfect solution, but they need something to fill that slot in the market.

Should be a COVID mask over the tail.

And for any sharp-eyed viewer who may be wondering; yes, that IS a Navy EC-121 "Warning Star" (Lockheed Constellation) in the background. You don't see very many of them around anymore. Another memory jog for old timers like me.
